Eligibility
Express Entry
- Active Express Entry profileMust have a valid profile in the federal Express Entry pool under CEC, FSW, or FST program.Source (opens in new tab)
- Minimum CRS score (varies)Ontario issues Notifications of Interest to candidates meeting minimum CRS thresholds. Recent draws have targeted CRS scores of 400+ for general streams, with lower thresholds for tech and French streams.
Work Experience
- 1+ year of work experience in eligible NOCAt least 1 year of cumulative paid work experience in a TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 occupation within the last 5 years.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or higherMust have completed a Canadian or equivalent foreign bachelor's degree, master's, or doctoral degree. Foreign credentials must be assessed via ECA.
Language
- CLB 7 in each ability (minimum)Must meet minimum CLB 7 in listening, reading, writing, and speaking. Higher language scores increase CRS ranking.
Settlement
- Intent to live and work in OntarioMust demonstrate genuine intention to reside in Ontario. May be asked to provide evidence of Ontario ties (job offer, family, previous residence).
