Frequently Asked Questions
Canadian Experience Class applications are typically processed within 6 months under the Express Entry service standard. CEC applications can sometimes be processed faster due to applicants already being in Canada.
CEC processing times are generally comparable to FSW and FST under Express Entry. However, CEC applicants may have an advantage since their Canadian work experience and documents are easier for IRCC to verify.
After receiving an Invitation to Apply, you have 60 days to submit a complete application. IRCC then begins processing, which includes background checks, medical exams, and document verification.
